I just wanted to share with all of u my experience with the Deftones, they played on the southest part of
Europe, a city called "El Ejido", in Almeria (Andalucía, historic and famous land because of its "flamenco",
"toros" and "cerveza" tradition...). But this time that tradition came out this way to introduce fucking great intense music.
The gig was awesome, the Natural Music Festival had the pleasure to get to see Deftones in great shape,
just to point out they were given a reduced time set because of some fucking readjusting timetables....fuck
them...but it was a great show tough. The band played in a tiny stage, instead a festival it looked like a small
venue in a city...but that fact came the show awesome, cause everyone in the crowd just wanted to see
Deftones, not other band such Guns N Roses.
The 1 h 10 min. set was too short as u can imagine, but so intense, all the band seemed to be happy, with a
great energy, they smiled each other when they saw the crowd freaking out, jumping, screaming, singing the
songs.....woahhhhh.....
Chino sang so intense, he & Chi, Stef, Abe, Frank (with thah cool mooooood) pushed all their energies in
showing all of us that Deftones keep rocking.
Chino interacted so much with the crowd, "Hexagram" was the chosen one to be sang on the crowd, he got
a classic hat that was given by someone and scream and sang part of the song with it, great moment....and
before starting "Passenger", some other one threw him away a cigarrete pack, Chino opened it and got a "shot" ,
hehe....that attitude is one the main things that get them as a great, historic and loved band....
Well, i finish my review, it just was my 2nd Deftones show, but i loved it, for people that think Deftones and Chino
are over, please......KEEP DREAMING!!!! DEFTONES ROCKS AND WILL ROCK FOR MANY YEARS MORE!!!!!
