Tonight was the Deftones concert at the LG Action Sports Championships here in D-town,
and they threw it the fuck down! I should start out by stating that Trae and Chad are basically the shit,
and they got me an all access pass so I could go where ever the fuck I wanted to. The show was set up
kinda strange since they had all the ramps set up on the floor, so everyone had to watch from the stands,
unless of course you had that nifty little pass like I did, I was right up front. They got Charlene, Jordan and
Mo down there too, so we had a friggin blast! They played a bad ass set! They opened up with "Feiticiera"
and went right into one of my favorite songs ever "Digital Bath." They played songs from all of their albums
except for their self-titled, which was kinda weird. I would've thought they would play "Minerva" or "Hexagram",
but they didn't. No loss though, cause they played the always blistering "My Own Summer (Shove It)",
"Passenger", "Bored", "Nosebleed", "Minus Blindfold", "7 Words", and they even played 2 new songs off of
their album that comes out next week called "Hole in the Earth" and "Cherry Waves". I always love it when
they play a lot of songs off of Adrenaline. I wish I could see them play "Engine No. 9" again sometime, that
song is amazing live. It was one bad ass show to say the least. I can't wait to see them again in 3 weeks down
in Austin. In case anyone is wondering the order I got one of the setlists off the stage:

One bad ass show!!!!! They're out on tour, so everyone should try to go check them out, they sounded really
good this time. Last few times I've seen them they were just alright, but tonight they were on like Donky Kong

Well, after waiting a little over 3 hours for the BMX, Skateboard Vert, and Motocross to conclude,
Deftones finally took the stage at around 10:45 PM. It was definitely worth the wait.
Although I think they would have played a little longer had the other stuff finished sooner.
The announcer kept telling the skaters to hurry up because apparently they were on a timed schedule.
Anyway, Deftones took the stage and finished off the show strong.
