News of the 2025 live shows arrived earlier this week (December 9), when the iconic metal band shared details of three one-off shows planned for the summer.
These included a stop with KoRn at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on August 28, a show at the Soldier Field Stadium in Chicago with Avenged Sevenfold on August 31, and a final gig at the Rogers Stadium in Toronto with Deftones on September 3.
Other special guests lined up for the gigs are Polyphia and Wisp, who will perform at all three shows.
Now, following tickets selling out at the pre-sale yesterday (December 11), Serj Tankian and co. have announced an extra show in each city.

The tour will now commence on August 27, as both System Of A Down and KoRn head to the Metlife Stadium for a second New Jersey show.
A second date with Avenged Sevenfold has been added for September 1 at the Soldier Field in Chicago, as has another show with Deftones at the Rogers Stadium in Toronto. The latter will mark the final date System have lined up at time of writing, and will be held on September 5.
Pre-sales for all three new shows will open at 12pm local time, and general ticket sales for all six dates will commence tomorrow (13) at midday.

Details of the upcoming live shows come as System Of A Down’s Shavo Odadjian recently spoke to NME in a new interview, and opened up about how he thinks the band will “never break up”.
He also weighed in on frontman Serj Tankian‘s recent comments about how a new System record would be a “fresh start in a brand new way”.
“I don’t know what he means by that,” Odadjian said. “We’ve done things a certain way in our career where it’s always going in a new direction. Every time we do something new, it’s in a direction you don’t expect. Process-wise, we’ll have to see when we get together. If it goes in a way that works for one person but not the others, we won’t do it. It has to work for all four of us.”
He continued: “Once that special time comes when we’re all in sync, we’ll figure out a way to do it. I’m not saying that it’s going to happen for sure – I don’t want people to turn this into clickbait like ‘Shavo says there’s a new record coming!’ I’m just saying if something happens, it will have to be in a way that all four of us are comfortable with.”
In other news, Tankian recently recalled his time working on the last two System Of A Down albums, and said that he “emotionally checked out” during the recording process.
